The board of Esperanto-USA has just approved a proposal that our Landa Kongreso for 2009 will be in Saint Louis, May 22-25, 2009. Mark the dates now.
So we will see you in Montreal this July, when we meet jointly with TAKE (The All American Esperanto Congress), and then next year in Saint Louis.

The scout requirements for the Citizenship in the World merit badge have changed effective Jan 1, 2006. The current requirements for the merit badge are here, and the old requirements are here. Notice the change at the end, where the option to study a foreign language has been removed.

José enkondukis sin -- kaj Esperanto -- al pli ol duono antaŭ ol la tempo elĉerpiĝis. Poste, ni iris per la subtera trajno al MIT kie li faris prelegon. La sekvontan tagon, li forlasis Bostonon kaj venis al Amherst.
